Small Arms []
Small arms in Andervaan is restricted to use by Military, Law Enforcement and various State Security agencies, possession of firearms by a civilian is strictly illegal punishable by up to ten years in prison for the first offence, second offenders are usually dealt with in a far more severe manner. There are three arms manufacturers in Andervaan:
Sentinel Arms: Based in St. Jeorge specializes in naval and aeronautic weapons platforms.
Overland Industries: Based in St. Kampus specializes in armored combat vehicles.
Phyon Securities: Based in St. Bannick specializes in small arms and personal tactical equipment. All small arms in service today are produced by Phyon Securities.
Side Arms:[]
There are two side arms in service with the military and law enforcement.
The PS-200 Chambered in the new Phyon 5.7 round this sidearm offers an excellent balance between ballistics and controllability. This striker fired, polymer sidearm offers a 20 round magazine and an internally suppressed gas system offering the operator an impressive level of firepower while remaining quiet and safe. |
The PS-100 Chambered in the old 9x19 round this sidearm still provides a reliable and proven track record with ample stopping power. This striker fired aluminum frame sidearm offers a 15 round magazine offering the operator ample firepower. |
Personal Defense Rifle (PDR):
There is only one PDR in service at this time with the military and law enforcement.
The PDR-100 Chambered in the new Phyon 5.7 round this PDR offers an excellent balance between ballistics and controllability. This select fire bullpup rifle offers a 50 round magazine and an internally suppressed gas system making it an extremely capable and quiet weapon even on full auto fire. |
Battle RIfles:[]
There are three battle rifle systems in service with the military and law enforcement.
The ABR-300 Chambered in the beefier Phyon 5.56 this rifle system is highly modular and can be adapted to any mission the operator is assigned. Offering a 30 round magazine and an internally suppressed gas system this rifle has proven itself to be unrivaled as a short to medium range combat weapon. |
The SSW-250 Chambered in the much larger Phyon 7.62 round this weapon is belt fed and fires at a cyclic rate of 950 rounds per minute allowing the operator to lay down an impressive amount of destructive or suppressive fire. |
The PSS-110 Chambered in the Phyon .338 anti-personnel or the .775 anti-equipment configuration the PSS-110 is a .5MOA capable rifle with the optics and ability to reach out and strike targets at nearly 2 miles. This weapon is considered by many to be the most powerful and most perfectly crafted long range sniping system ever conceived. |
Surplus Weapons: []
While it is illegal for civilians to own weapons, those that do generally find access to surplus weapons no longer in service in the military or law enforcement. While they are impossible to list in their entirety here the most common surplus calibers will include .44 and .38 in pistols and 30-06 and 7.62 in rifles.
